Los Angeles born jazz/neo -soul singer-songwriter Chelsea Becker is influenced by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, and many
others. She did her debut headline gig at the Harrison Kings
Cross in February and is working on her debut EP ‘The Last Lines I’ll
Write About You’. She has played at venues including the Half Moon in
Putney,Temple of Art and Music in Elephant and Castle, and recently performed a sold out Headline Show at the Camden Chapel.
Chelsea is predominantly classically trained having studied at the
Royal College of Music, as a scholar. She won BBC Young Composer of
the Year twice receiving commissions from the BBC Singers and the BBC
Concert Orchestra; which was performed at the BBC Proms. She will continue her studies at the Guildhall School doing music production and vocals.
‘The Last Lines I’ll Write About You’ is due for release early in 2024.
