| Thee Acid Ranch rolls on packing inn a music policy of 'anything goes' with resident Must Destroy dj's: from garage-punk, freakbeat, fuzzy-funk, nasty guitar, stoner-mod, lo-fi breaks and low-down dirty soul. basically, if its raw and fun, then there's room for it in the record-box. Earlier in the night we'll be bringing you the Swedish tradition of 'pre-party', and single-handedly spearheading the 'nu-chillout' movement, with a couple hours of 'mellower' music for the cocktail hours. now... we're not talking about kitschy exotica here, just the kind of stuff that'll soothe yr soul or drop a tear in your beer.. John Barry, Hank Williams, Neu, Low, Phil Spector, Dusty Springfield. sort of like 'lounge music'... but only if yr lounge is piled high with 1000's of dusty 45's and empty bottle |
