Absent Kelly are getting funky at Notting Hill Arts Club again this February!

Topping the bill is The Woodville. This soul/funk/pop outfit are really making waves at the moment! The group have been asked to perform for BBC Radio 6 Music, as part of The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show and been championed by BBC Introducing, but since the release of their latest single, they're really going from strength to strength!

Support comes from Bohdi Rose, a pop sensation of tomorrow! Joined by her band for the evening, Bohdi is making waves right now playing at top venues, including Shoreditch House, and receiving airplay on BBC Introducing. We're sure big things are on the horizon.

Ruby & the Revelators are a Bognor Regis based outfit who play a fresh, yet nostalgic take on soulful funk. Topped by stunning vocals, the band’s sound has seen them bag numerous great reviews, with Blues in Britain calling them “the next big thing on the UK blues scene”.

Rosie Whittle will be there too. Rosie is a singer songwriter from London who writes simple but infectious pop songs that has seen her championed by BBC Introducing. With Rosie’s distinctive and delicate vocals, we’re sure she’ll go far.

Also providing support is Shakira Alleyne, a London songstress who will be joined by her band for the evening to play her brand of ambient alternative soul, reminiscent of the likes of Lapsley and James Blake, that has seen her feature on BBC Introducing.

Opening the show is Meron T, a talented London based Neo soul artist with an absolutely sublime voice! Meron is turning heads wherever she plays at the moment, and once you hear her, you’ll see why!
